Giving Back to the Community

The members of the Cedar International School community share a commitment to philanthropy and service.  Students demonstrate this commitment in countless ways such as selling baked goods for the animal shelter, organising a talent show for the Haiti Relief Fund and hosting a fashion show for the BVI Special Olympics. Parents and friends help organise book fairs, donate resources to the classrooms and enthusiastically raise their paddles at the gala auction. Whether making a gift directly to Cedar International School or being a role model for community service, these acts of generosity contribute to the fulfillment of the Cedar International School mission.

There are many ways for everyone to be part of our “giving” community.  For more information about making a gift or becoming involved as a volunteer, please contact us.

Giving Programmes

The Annual Appeal: Voluntary contributions to the Cedar Annual Appeal help close the gap between income from tuition and fees and the actual cost of a Cedar education. Contributions to the Annual Appeal provides funds for academic programmes, co-curricular activities and other resources vital to the education and development of Cedar students.

The Charitable Trust Fund: Dedicated to the long-term support of educational opportunities for the children of our community, this permanent fund is used to provide financial assistance to children residing in the British Virgin Islands who could not otherwise afford the cost of a private, international education.
